SMS consent
How SitePunch collects consent for login texts.
This page explains how a person opts in to receive SitePunch SMS login codes and what those texts are used for.

What the user does
- The user opens the public SitePunch login page.
- The user enters their own phone number.
- The user checks the SMS consent box and requests a one-time login code.
- SitePunch sends a single service-related SMS containing the six-digit verification code.
- The user enters that code to sign in.
What the consent covers
- Consent is collected directly from the person entering their own phone number.
- These texts are used only to verify login and access to SitePunch.
- SitePunch does not use this flow for promotional or marketing SMS.
- These messages include one-time login codes requested during sign-in.
- Message frequency varies. You will receive up to one message per login request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reply HELP for help or email support@sitepunch.app.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Disclosure shown at opt-in
SitePunch shows the following disclosure before the user requests a code:
I agree to receive service-related SMS text messages from SitePunch, including one-time login codes, to verify my login. Message frequency varies. You will receive up to one message per login request. These messages include one-time login codes requested during sign-in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help or email support@sitepunch.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Business responsible for messaging
SitePunch manages this opt-in flow and the relationship with the user receiving the login code.

SitePunch currently sends this transactional OTP message:

Users can reply STOP to opt out of login texts and HELP for support information.
Because these texts are used to deliver one-time login codes, opting out may prevent a user from signing in until consent is provided again.
